Versace SunglassesVersace is one of the newer fashion designers, established in 1978. Italian Gianni Versace was the son of a dressmaker in Italy. He was influenced by the modern pop-art era of the 1960s, and his later aggressive designs reflected that taste. Versace's fashions quickly became a hit with the famous celebrity crowd, which still exists today. From rock stars to Princess Di, the designs were extremely huge with the rich and famous, which helped make the Versace line a billion dollar corporation in 10 years. Gianni Versace himself was a celebrity, but unfortunately it came at a price. He was assassinated outside his mansion in Florida. But Versace fashions live on, and Versace only uses the finest of materials in their goods, from clothing and accesories to fine china. And of course Versace is famous for it's distinctive lion's-head logo. Like much of the Versace fashions, their sunglasses are featured with unique stylings to match the celebrity-mood one may be in. For example, there is a "Motown" style, a 60s style, even a Ray Milland style. But whatever style, one can be assured of excellent craftsmanship and design.
